Mark Cavendish became as the most successful stage winner in Tour de France history.
With 34 wins, Cavendish, an Isle of Man native, was tied for first place with legendary Belgian
racer Eddy Merckx.
Lead-out rider and teammate Cees Bol simply commented, "He f****** nailed it."
The cyclist took home four Tour stage victories in 2008, his first, and by 2011, he had achieved 20.
Cavendish has achieved numerous things, including two green Tour Cycle France points jerseys.
