Dhuruvangal Pathinaaru
A Gripping Neo-Noir Thriller and suspense in Dhuruvangal Pathinaaru is seen. This film traces the story of retired cop Deepak, played by Rahman as he narrates a past case that had forced him to leave the force. Deepak, narrating to an aspiring police officer, speaks about a multitude of unconnected events: a suspicious suicide, a missing woman in the city and a hit-and-run.
Kartik Naren (the director of the movie) adds suspense through his procedural approach. We watched Deepak being investigated with the help of his acerbic rookie partner, Gautham (Prakash). The criminal involved in the film may be kept guessing throughout the story.
Dhuruvangal Pathinaaru excels in the execution. Slick cinematography, enveloping sound design and intense depictions of police work make the film quite engaging. Rahman gives a solid, down-to-earth portrayal of the character Deepak who is flawed but smart.
Vikram Vedha
This movie is an action thriller film written and directed by Pushkar Gayatri and reviewed as one of the top South Indian Thriller Movies.
In most of the Indian house, the story of Vikram Bethal is very common. There was also a famous TV show about it (Vikram Aur Betaal). In the movie, the character of Vikram is played by M Madhavan and Vedha is portrayed by Vijay Sethupathi.

This story is based on the police officer Vikram and gangster Vedha. Vikram is determined to catch Vedha, who always seems to be one step ahead. Vedha starts narrating stories from his life to Vikram.
He narrates about one brother, Pulli, and how he was pushed into committing crimes. Every time Vikram gets closer to Vedha, he starts suspecting his belief in what is right and what is wrong. Vikram realizes that things are more complex than they saw. After that, a big fight starts between Vikram and Vedha.
Game Over
Swapna is a video game developer played by Taapsee Pannu who has nyctophobia (fear of dark). Taapsee Pannu delivers a powerful performance; her depiction of resilience and fear is captivating.
The movie seems to blend elements of horror, thriller, and psychological drama all in one. The storyline does not disappoint as it is filled with numerous unexpected twists and turns that keep you guessing right until the end of the movie.
U-turn
The film is a very thrilling tale that twists and turns to keep you on the edge. The story takes a supernatural dimension, adding a different feel, which may not appeal to everybody. Samantha Akkineni delivers a strong performance as Rachana which makes this relatable and engaging.
So, if you like neo-noir mysteries full of suspense and can digest supernatural elements in them, then U-Turn is definitely something worth viewing. However, if you prefer a film with a fast pace and realism, then it may not be your cup of tea.
Agent Sai Srinivasa Athreya
Agent Sai Srinivasa Athreya is an excellent, no-nonsense film based on one of the most important crime rackets in the country. In this movie, Athreya played by Naveen Polishetty is a detective agent in Nellore searching for a big case to become successful.
However, one day he indulged in a case of an abandoned dead body found near a railway track. Slowly, Athreya starts his findings and comes to know that these bodies, which were being found had a criminal connection.
RangiTaranga
RangiTaranga is a visual masterpiece admirably satisfying with its great cinematography and an engrossing storyline. The story revolves around Gautam, a writer, and his wife Indu as they get involved in the supernatural activities of their ancestral home.
This South Indian Thriller movie is Well-paced with lots of suspense and emotional depth, as per the reviews.
